Your role
We are seeking a talented and proactive DevOps Engineer (mid-level/senior) to join a project for our client from the energy industry based in Germany. As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to a professional service for the secure and efficient management of digital documents in a document management system. The platform consists of both hardware and software services. The service includes configuration, provision and maintenance of the necessary software and infrastructure in accordance with agreed quality standards and service levels.
The role includes:
- responsibility for platform availability
- continuous monitoring of the performance of the systems and services to ensure they are online and operational
- ensuring the stability and efficiency of pipelines and releases
- maintaining and adapting scripts for ad-hoc data-loading or data-fixing tasks
- monitoring, creating, and updating the Gitlab server with GitLab Runner and its pipelines
- monitoring alerts, creating/tuning configurations, and initiating relevant discussions
- ensuring all infrastructure is secure and resilient

What do we expect?
- you have strong experience in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure management
- you are proficient in at least one public cloud platform (Azure preferred)
- you have proven expertise in setting up and managing pipelines and releases
- you are experienced in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- your experience with GitLab
- you have a passion for optimizing and improving systems and processes
- you speak English fluently
