Your role

For our client from energy industry based in Germany we are looking for an experienced test manager for Clean Energy Integration project. You will be responsible for leading integration of business processes from Oracle into SAP including migration of historical data into Jives system. The business users will be located in UK.


The role includes:

  • Leading Testing Teams
  • Developing Test strategies
  • Executing Test plans and schedules
  • Utilizing Test methodologies
  • Identifying Automation Opportunities
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders 
  • Problem solving and issue resolution
  • Continuous improvement
  • Duration (of the project):  several months (backfill for a person on long-term sick leave)


What do we expect?

  • Experience in software testing and test management for at least 5 years
  • Experience in software development methodologies in various setups (agile, V-model),
  • Understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing processes
  • Proficiency in various testing methodologies, such as manual testing, automated testing, performance testing
  • Test Automation knowledge, identification of potential automation candidates
  • Ability to develop and execute test strategies, plans, and schedules
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and motivate testing teams
  • Experience in resource allocation, budget management, and project planning
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the testing process
  • Intensive and proactive cooperation with project management, IT consultants and business
  • Knowledge of quality assurance best practices, standards, and methodologies
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g. HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Zephyr Jira etc.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • ISTQB certification is preferred (CTFL at least, with CTAL Test Manager nice to have)
