We are looking for SAP Basis Administrator, who will join our team to support customer within the SAP environment and infrastructure with very good knowledge of Linux, Networks and Cloud.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate the installation, configuration, integration, upgrade, and testing services for new projects and ongoing maintenance of SAP environments delivered by third-party providers.
  • Handle problem-solving with the customer's third-party providers (SAP Basis, OS - Linux, DB - Sybase, HANA).
  • Develop measures to improve system stability and performance.
  • Monitor and provide support for system interfaces.
  • Assist with monthly release management.
  • Administer and migrate HANA and cloud systems, especially in the Azure cloud.
  • Manage complex infrastructure requirements and changes for multiple projects.
  • Plan and manage SAP projects according to customer needs.
  • Perform error analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support.

What do we expect?

  • Proven experience in SAP Basis administration, including installations, upgrades, and migrations of SAP systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) with hands-on experience in cloud-based SAP solutions.
  • Strong expertise in database management systems (e.g., HANA – required, SQL Server, Sybase), including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Solid OS skills at both Linux and Windows levels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the transport management system between SAP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues in the customer’s SAP environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
