About
We are looking for a Medior Manual Tester. In this role, you will contribute to the quality assurance of a large-scale enterprise application used across the German energy sector. You’ll work within an agile environment focused on ensuring reliability, usability, and efficiency of a digital platform that connects network operators, partner companies, and public authorities.
Your responsibilities
- Create and adapt test cases for user story acceptance and regression testing.
- Perform functional and exploratory testing for modern web applications.
- Document and manage test results in Jira and Zephyr.
- Record, evaluate, and track defects through established QA workflows.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of test data.
- Collaborate with the test automation team to align on testing coverage and priorities.
- Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure release readiness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
What do we expect?
- Proven experience in manual testing of enterprise web applications.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Zephyr or Xray for Jira.
- Solid understanding of agile development and testing methodologies.
- Strong skills in documenting, analyzing, and tracking defects.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence on a daily basis.
- Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2) communication skills.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and quality-driven mindset with strong teamwork skills.
- nice to have:
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with SAP systems
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
- Basic understanding of test automation and tools like Tosca
- Knowledge of the energy industry or public sector projects
