About
- We are looking for 2 Medior/Senior Test Automation Engineers to join our customer’s teams—one for a backend-focused SCRUM team and one for the mobile application team. The mobile-focused position requires experience with mobile testing, while the backend-focused role does not. Both roles require strong automation skills, ISTQB certification, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing.
- You will join a cross-functional SCRUM team—responsible for areas such as charging, payments, or invoicing—working alongside developers, business testers, and a Product Owner to ensure the quality and reliability of their mobile applications.
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Collaborate with developers, business testers, and Product Owners within a SCRUM team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in refinement, planning, and sprint ceremonies, providing input on testing strategy and risk analysis.
- Execute automated and manual tests as needed, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
- Contribute to improving test frameworks, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure test coverage for new features within your team’s product domain (e.g., charging, payments, invoicing).
- Work closely with QA peers to align testing practices and maintain consistent quality standards across teams.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize CI/CD test pipelines.
What do we expect?
- 5 years + of experience in software testing with good knowledge of different test levels such as functional, integration and system tests
- Minimum of 3 year experience in Agile Testing
- Proficient with different test design techniques
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools, programming languages, frameworks such as Selenium, Junit, Ruby, Java, TestNG.
- Experience with creating automated tests using any programming language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, C#, VBScript)
- Solid technical expertise such as database languages, API/ web service testing (particularly REST).
- Familiar with Agile Software Development (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) including understanding the role of testing in quality-focused agile development projects
- Preferably knowledge in Mobile App projects.
- Highly interactive and good analytical capabilities for evaluating results
- Strong communication skills for handling verbal communication with the team and the stakeholders
- Fluent in English language
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Agile Tester Foundation Level
