Role Overview
We are seeking a professional to be driving the deployment of AI Act compliance and digital ethics assessment frameworks across our organization. This role will bridge technical, and governance domains and, in close collaboration with a legal expert, ensure that our AI and data-driven systems meet regulatory requirements under the EU AI Act. At the same time, it will integrate the principles of digital ethics into our AI use-cases, operations, and governance structures.
The AI Act & Digital Ethics Assessment Deployment Lead will coordinate across compliance, legal, technical, and business teams to establish AI ACT complient governance processes and risk management for responsible AI adoption at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Act Readiness & Compliance
- Drive organizational deployment for the EU AI Act and related legislation (e.g., Digital Ethical Assessment) to all Ai use-cases in close cooperation with legal expert.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, help in providing documentation for regulatory bodies and ensuring the trustworthy and ethical development and deployment of AI in line with the EU AI Act's requirements, preventing potential non-compliance fines.
- Provide status reporting for all AI use-cases in developement & already deployed.
Digital Ethics Operationalization
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI system risk classification frameworks (Minimal, Limited, High-risk, Prohibited categories).
- Translate ethical principles (fairness, transparency, accountability, human oversight, inclusivity, sustainability) into actionable assessment criteria.
- Ensure ethics-by-design practices are applied throughout AI/ML development lifecycles.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to embed responsible AI practices into workflows and tooling.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Educate executives, and staff on AI Act compliance obligations and digital ethics impacts.
- Report on compliance maturity and ethics integration to senior leadership. Act as subject-matter expert in cross-industry forums, working groups, and audits.
Candidate Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Ethics, Data Science, or Governance-related fields, Law field is an advantage
- 3+ years in compliance, governance, or AI/tech ethics roles within regulated or tech-driven industries.
- In-depth knowledge of EU AI Act requirements, risk-based frameworks, and conformity assessments. Being able to understand technical capabilities of AI/ML systems.
- Strong grasp of digital ethics principles and ability to operationalize them in practice.
- Leadership in deployment of risk/governance frameworks across large enterprises.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and legal teams.
- Advantage: Experience with AI governance tools (Collibra, Google Cloud AI Governance, ModelOps platforms, ethical AI toolkits).
- Cross-functional communication and training skills, including executive/stakeholder engagement.
