IT Administrator

About

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Administrator to serve as the primary IT point of contact for our Munich office. This is a broad, ownership-driven role suited to someone who takes pride in keeping technology running reliably across the organization. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of our day-to-day IT environment — spanning end-user support, hardware and software management, and basic network administration — while serving as a trusted partner to employees. Rather than deep specialization in a single domain, this role calls for practical, cross-functional expertise and the confidence to take ownership across a wide range of IT disciplines.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support for end users in the Munich office, covering hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Manage the full lifecycle of end-user devices — procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning
  • Install, configure, and maintain business applications and tools used across the office
  • Administer user accounts, access rights, and software licences in line with company policies
  • Perform basic network administration tasks, including troubleshooting LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity and coordinating with network or infrastructure teams when required
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective, ensuring timely setup and decommissioning of equipment and accounts
  • Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory for the Munich office
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, replacements, and deliveries
  • Ensure endpoint security compliance, including patch management and adherence to IT security policies
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and known issues
  • Support ad hoc IT projects, office moves, and technology rollouts as required

What do we expect?

  • Proven experience in an IT support, IT administration, or similar hands-on IT role
  • Practical knowledge of Windows and/or macOS in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and common enterprise collaboration tools
  • Solid understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi networking fundamentals
  • Experience managing hardware assets and software licence administration
  • Ability to independently triage, prioritize, and resolve or escalate IT issues
  • Strong communication skills in English (C1)

    Nice to have:

    • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent
    • Experience in a mid-size or enterprise office IT environment
    • German language is a plus
