What you will do with us / Position description
As a Local IT Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for daily IT support, endpoint management, local infrastructure administration and coordination of IT operations at the assigned location.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day IT support to end users and resolving operational IT requests
- Preparing, installing, configuring and reinstalling laptops, workstations and related peripherals
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including coordination of warranty claims and hardware repairs
- Managing user accounts, access rights and basic identity administration tasks
- Supporting printers, print services, file services and local office IT infrastructure
- Performing backup-related activities and supporting backup management processes
- Supporting administration, configuration and maintenance of physical and virtual servers
- Maintaining IT asset inventory, documentation, records and lifecycle tracking
- Assisting with procurement of IT hardware, peripherals, accessories and software licenses
- Coordinating with external IT suppliers, vendors and service providers
- Preparing IT equipment and access for new employees as part of the onboarding process
- Providing basic IT guidance, user training and technical assistance to employees
- Supporting monitoring, maintenance and operational continuity of internal IT infrastructure
- Participating in IT process improvements, automation initiatives and operational optimization tasks
- Supporting software license management and compliance tracking
Technical environment
The role involves working mainly with the following technologies:
- Virtualization: Microsoft Hyper-V - VM creation, configuration and basic maintenance
- Windows Server services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NPS
- Microsoft 365: Entra ID / Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft Defender
- Endpoint management: Windows workstations, laptops, mobile device management and security tooling
- Networking and infrastructure: routers, switches, firewalls, NAS devices, printers and office network equipment
- Automation: PowerShell, Power Automate and basic scripting or workflow automation
Nice to have
Experience with the following tools or areas is an advantage:
- Endpoint Privilege Management tools, especially CyberArk EPM
- Antivirus / EDR management consoles, especially SentinelOne
- DNS security platforms, especially Whalebone
- Basic Linux administration
- Basic knowledge of IT security, backup, monitoring and infrastructure documentation
