About
We are looking for a motivated Junior Tester to join our QA team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in IT or a related field who want to gain real project experience in software testing within international enterprise environments. You will work alongside experienced testers, test managers, and automation engineers, contributing to quality delivery for global clients — primarily in the utilities and enterprise systems domain.
Your responsibilities
- execute manual test cases based on defined test scenarios
- identify, document, and track defects using test management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps)
support test preparation activities including test data creation and environment setup
- collaborate with international teams and communicate with German-speaking stakeholders on a daily basis
- participate in test execution cycles including regression testing
- maintain test documentation and contribute to test reporting
- contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
What do we expect?
- currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- basic understanding of software testing concepts
- strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- good communication and teamwork skills
- fluent English and German is a must
- willingness to learn and develop in the QA/testing field
Nice to have:
- basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- exposure to test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
- ISTQB knowledge
- interest in test automation or AI in testing
- previous internship or coursework in software testing
