Senior Native iOS Developer

About

We are looking for an experienced Senior Native iOS Developer to join our remote-first, dynamic engineering team. We don’t just need someone who can build iOS applications; we are looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving complex technical challenges and actively contributes to improving products, architecture and engineering practices. You will work on modern mobile solutions that support connected digital services and deliver a seamless user experience in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. As a senior member of the team, you will bring minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, provide technical leadership, drive engineering best practices and play an active role in shaping our architecture and technical direction. You will mentor fellow developers, support the growth of junior colleagues and contribute to continuous improvements across both our products and development processes.

  • Swift and SwiftUI – expert-level, native iOS development

Your responsibilities

  • design, develop and maintain native iOS application features from concept through production
  • take ownership of complex technical initiatives and contribute to architectural decisions, helping shape the future direction of the mobile platform
  • collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, Test Engineers, Backend Developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile experiences
  • write clean, maintainable and testable code while actively participating in code reviews and promoting engineering best practices
  • continuously refine and evolve Clean Architecture and TCA principles to ensure a scalable, maintainable and future-proof codebase
  • drive process optimization and contribute to improving development, testing, deployment and release workflows
  • support and mentor junior and mid-level developers by sharing knowledge, reviewing code and fostering technical growth within the team

 

What do we expect?

  • expert-level knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture (TCA); experience with MapKit and CarPlay is a strong advantage
  • strong practical experience with Clean Architecture, with the ability to explain and apply architectural principles to build scalable, maintainable and testable applications
  • demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges, lead initiatives and make sound technical decisions
  • proven experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), with a proactive approach to collaboration and continuous improvement
  • passion for writing clean, efficient, well-documented and thoroughly tested code, maintaining high standards for quality and long-term sustainability
  • fluency in English, and German will be an advantage
